Whereas Hilda von Blütenstein is the embodiment of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Broken Ivan is the embodiment of Arcadian land and people. Simple-minded, yet not stupid. Cunning, yet with integrity that comes from the honesty of the heart, Ivan is endowed with an almost supernatural body strength that comes solely from his impressive physique. Supported, we presume, by that famous, traditional Arcadian diet. Yet, like everyone and everything in Arcadia Tenebra, Ivan has a dark side. This celebrated strongmen champion of Arcadia, a good-looking fellow whom everyone loves, bears a terrible scar that set him on the path of bloody revenge. His motives for joining the murder investigation are very much personal. The unknown psychopath murdered his beloved Viktor, a son of a wealthy industrial Hodorich.
The day Ivan learned that the secret love of his life was a victim of the most gruesome murder was the day he took the oath of revenge. No one realizes that a mild-natured Ivan has become a bloodthirsty vigilante. He doesn’t care, because from now on, his single goal is to make the psychopath murderer suffer many terrible deaths.
